Josephine ("Josey") Mintel, Violinist
- Began playing violin before age three, studying Suzuki method with John E. Borg in Bloomington, IL. (Borg was a student of the Iowa Preucil Suzuki School).
- Played in first chamber music ensemble at age 7 (Borg Studio: The Conquest Trio) and first Orchestra at age 8 (Central Illinois Prep Orchestra). Attended the American Suzuki Institute at Stevens Point for 10 years (1995-2005); Member of Midwest Young Artists for entire High School career (2005-2008).
