Collection Seven

The Seventh Collection in the Mintel Archive contains several recordings that were made into commercial CDs and are for sale elsewhere (See Resources>Commercial CDs).  The Collection also has recordings of sacred music that were made during worship services at The Church of the Ascension-Chicago when Thomas Wikman was choirmaster there and it contains several Mozart and Haydn Symphonies.  Volume 12 features two recordings of Bach’s  St Matthew Passion, one made near the beginning of Thomas Wikman’s tenure as Music Director of Chicago’s Music of the Baroque in 1974 and the second made near the end of his tenure in 2001, almost 30 years later.
