Collection Nine

The Ninth Collection in the Mintel Archive contains recordings made in Walk Festival Hall located in Teton Village, Wyoming. The Grand Teton Music Festival Orchestra plays under several different conductors including, Ling Tung, the Festival’s first Music Director and guest conductors Zubin Mehta, Mark Elder, Carlos Kalmar and Peter Oundjian. Volume 12 contains a recording of the Grand Teton Seminar Orchestra. The music in this Collection features six symphonies composed by Gustav Mahler as well as Beethoven’s 9th Symphony and the Verdi Requiem.
